Had a great stay at the Courtyard Marriott Ottawa East and would highly recommend it. I stay here once a month. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean, with comfortable beds, large flatscreen TVs, and a well-designed workspace that makes it easy to stay productive on the road. The kitchenette area with coffee maker and mini-fridge was a nice added convenience. The hotel amenities are excellent, including a clean pool and hot tub area and a well-equipped fitness centre. Everything throughout the property felt well maintained and thoughtfully designed. One feature that really stood out was the free EV charging, which is a fantastic benefit and made the stay even more convenient. It’s a great perk that not many hotels offer and a big advantage for anyone driving an electric vehicle. Overall, this is a comfortable, modern, and very well-run hotel. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Ottawa.

My parents stayed there for a month. Front desk staff was excellent. Accomodated with everything we asked. Housekeeping kept rooms immaculate. Beds were super comfortable. Huge washroom. Plenty of parking inside or out. Really enjoyed their stay there and would definitely come back. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I had a very confusing and frustrating experience with a reservation at Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa East made through the Marriott Bonvoy booking system. The reservation was made on February 1, 2026 at 12:11 and cancelled the same day at 16:35, only a few hours later. During the booking process, the policy indicated that cancellations within 24 hours were allowed, which is why I cancelled the reservation shortly after making it. On February 9, I contacted the property to confirm the refund status. The customer service representative informed me that there would be no penalty and that the refund should be processed within a few weeks. However, when I followed up again on February 25, 2026, I spoke with a supervisor named Yahia who stated that there would be no refund. This directly contradicted the information previously provided by the hotel. This inconsistency in communication has made the situation confusing and frustrating. When a reservation is cancelled within hours and a staff member confirms that a refund will be issued, customers reasonably expect the information provided to be reliable. For a property operating under Marriott International, I expected clearer communication and consistent handling of cancellation policies and refund requests.

Great hotel. Nice rooms. We got upgraded. Great staff. Nice breakfast for a good price. Nice gym and pool/hot tub. Strategic location by the 417. Was a good price through the marriott app also. Very happy with our stay!
