Nice spot for the prices I am seeing today. I booked it months ago on Expedia and it was $437 for the two bedroom suite (I had put three children and two adults in the booking and so it was one of my only options). Upon arriving it is dead. No one is here really. The suite is nice but lacking attention to details cleaning and upkeep wise for that price. I would assume complimentary items but just got water. The staff upon entry were nice but not anything above the holiday inn (who were amazing) we stayed at last night . That room was smaller but only $190. The curtains look like they have never been washed. Some of the walls have marks on them that would come off with magic erasers. The bathrooms are spacious. It’s nice to have two. The outside pool in winter was a hit with the kiddos. Nespresso pods for the morning are exciting…it’s what we drink at home. The tvs are basic, not smart ones with Netflix and such. That was a bit of a bummer for the kids. I’m really nit picking as I think it should have been cheaper.

Rooms are average but decent. The hotel has a heated pool and is connected to the convention centre. I would expect the indoor parking to be free when you stay for the night but it's not the case. Also, there are no EV chargers in the indoor parking. Considering there are only 2 very slow chargers in the outdoor parking lot, which also serves the Convention centre, I feel it's a miss from Sheraton/Marriott. Staff were definitely friendly and accomodating which needs to be highlighted! If you absolutely need to be in this area, it's a safe bet.

If you are going with a hockey team for a hockey tournament , DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Their morning breakfast should be included for what they are offering. Yogurt, croissant, hard boiled eggs and juice/coffee. Supposedly available to 10am however Friday morning they closed at 920am because the “Chef” said they said they were not putting any more food out. As well, they allowed one team to leave early giving them a discount on the final night but discriminated and didn’t provide this offer to other team staying there mentioning they don’t have enough staff to clean all rooms. Lastly, security followed the kids around to make sure they didn’t disturb the peace without speaking to the parents. They seemed EXTREMELY annoyed that we were there. Definitely NOT kid friendly. I feel compelled to answer managements response … Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it continues to deflect responsibility rather than address the core issues raised. To be clear: at no point during our stay did security or hotel staff approach parents or team staff to communicate concerns. If issues existed, the appropriate and professional action would have been to speak directly with the responsible adults. Addressing children individually while later blaming “lack of parental supervision” is ineffective and unacceptable. Citing a comment allegedly made by a single child and using it to characterize an entire group of families is inappropriate. One child does not represent dozens of families, and that narrative unfairly shifts blame rather than acknowledging communication failures. Regarding breakfast, advertising a continental breakfast while charging $15 for minimal offerings — and closing service early despite posted hours — is misleading. This is not a matter of preference or perception; it is a service issue. Most notably, the concern regarding contract enforcement remains unresolved. One team, under the same contractual terms, was permitted to exit their final night for a reduced fee, while others were denied the same option. Calling this a “management exception” does not change the reality of unequal treatment. The tone of the response prioritizes protecting the hotel’s image over accountability. Referencing operational inconvenience, other guests’ complaints, or staffing challenges does not excuse inconsistent policy enforcement or poor communication. We have stayed at many tournament hotels over the years and have never encountered this level of hostility toward children or this lack of professionalism from management. Based on our experience, this property is not family- or tournament-friendly and would benefit from significant management improvement.

Nice hotel; it's a Sheraton. The room is clean, but it's missing some amenities. The pool is nice; it's an outdoor pool. The gym could benefit from more equipment and new treadmills. There's no breakfast included, and for $15, it's only viennoiseries and cereal. Not disappointed but for a hotel that is annexed to the convention Centre i expected more.
