When we arrived we noticed an odour in the lobby. Checked in and went to our room. The odour was horrific to the point we were physically sick. Once we started looking around the room we noticed how dirty it was. We booked a jacuzzi tub room and when we looked in the tub it was stained and not something we felt comfortable having a tub in. We started checking the room with a flashlight and seen the uncleanliness around the room. Within half hour we decided to find somewhere else to go. Kids were screaming and running everywhere with no shoes and socks on, no parents in sight. We went to the front desk to talk to them, they were less than helpful and refused to refund us as it’s their ‘policy’ and it was booked through third party. They did offer another room but by that time I was so nauseous from the odour I was not staying there. We ended up walking out and going to a different hotel. Check other reviews, they are not good. All the complaints line up with what we experienced and we weren’t there long. I am extremely disappointed in Expedia as well. I contacted them about a refund and they said they would call the hotel, well the hotel said no. I was hoping since it was booked through Expedia and the hotel made that clear it is third party that they would have better customer support. This hotel is borderline scam to get your money and once you realize the condition it is tough luck.

I stayed at the Days Inn by Wyndham Ottawa Airport for 3 nights and was very disappointed with my experience. On the first night, my room was missing a shower curtain and the sink was completely clogged. I had to wait that night for someone to install a curtain, and the sink wasn’t fixed until the next day. I asked to switch rooms but was told it was not possible. I also repeatedly asked for compensation and to speak with the manager. For my entire stay, the manager was “not available,” and when I finally spoke with him at checkout, he refused to offer any compensation for the first night, and only offered "points" even though the room was clearly not in proper condition. I expected better service and accountability from a Wyndham-branded hotel. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property based on my experience.

I dont recommend the staff are rude and lazy. The cleaners dont properly do their job. Un vacuumed rugs dirty taps and mirrors un washed bathroom floors. Paying to stay at this establishment would be highly unlikely for me. I've worked in cleaning and Houskeeping so I know very well what is to be be done. This place place makes me sick, the staff for the most part particularly management are rude and uninviting. The cleaners as a whole need re-training or peoole capable of doing the job. If you are looking for a place to rest and know it is money well spent most I highly suggest not checking in here.

We stayed one night to take advantage of the airport shuttle in the morning and because they had the cheapest rate for leaving a car parked on site while away ($8/night). Our room was large and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was provided and the staff was very helpful! Remember to book in advance if you're needing the airport shuttle. We would gladly stay again!
