Property wasn't well maintained, with an overflowing garbage bin and long, unlit outdoor stairway. The bathtub was rusted and appeared to have mold where silicone was missing. The prime tv stations listed on the website weren't available & the room was noisy, given the proximity to the highway. On the bright side, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

I will have to give this two stars after spending a week or so staying here on vacation during the summer. Pros: Great location near Banff and Canmore and stunning scenery from the hotel. Cons: I cannot recommend staying here during the summer. This place has no air conditioning and in July it does get hot. Normally opening a window and turning on a fan would suffice but this place is right next to the highway and train tracks and so it can be incredibly loud at night, especially because the area is busy with freight trains rolling through at all hours of the day. The walls are also super thin and so if you’re on a lower floor you will hear literally everything above you. The building itself is also pretty old and run down, with signs of water damage on the ceiling and walls and foundation issues, even though it seems to have had a fairly recent cosmetic facelift. The beds are also not very comfortable. A bit soft and squishy. Overall I would have just preferred camping outside the hotel where I could have been cooler and not had to hear the noisy neighbors above me walking around until 2am. The only way I would stay here again is not during the summer and on an upper floor. Would make a much better home base for a ski trip than for summer hiking.

We had a great stay in the place. The house is very clean and organized. Almost everything we need in the house is available and the area is accessible to all like grocery, fast food, resto and gas stations. We will surely recommend this to our freinds and relatives. Till next our future vacation here in Alberta. 🙂

I had decided that I would move to Alberta to look for work but was unfortunately scammed on housing leaving me homeless with no place to go in January. Scrambling to find somewhere pet friendly to stay I contacted this motel. I explained to the lady my situation and she was very kind and understanding to my situation and put me and my pup up for two weeks in the motel for a very reasonable amount. I had a good stay here and the lady that owned it was very friendly and helpful. Very laid back and easy going. The room was clean and very spacious. I would recommend this motel to anybody especially with pets as it is very pet friendly and accommodating. She saved me and my pup from freezing and I greatly appreciate the hospitality.
