Great location near the Byward Market and walking distance to the Parliament buildings, uOttawa and their local shopping centre. Hotel was clean, room was spotless and looked like a modern art gallery, breakfast had many options. Customer service was the best part. They gave us a free room upgrade so that we could check-in early. The balcony and the view were amazing! Thanks ByWard Blue Inn staff for our short but lovely stay!

We stayed there last weekend. What a fabulous find!!! Great rooms...small but has sink...mini fridge.. most comfy bed!! Has a court yard with individual gas bar-b q for the spring and summer!! Great art work thru out the place. Free breakfast in the morning that was very tasty and filling. Lastly the price.. for two nights it was till less than we pay to stay one night in a place downtown Toronto for a night out..

An outstanding hotel in the very heart of the city. Despite the building being older, the interior of the hotel is fully renovated, very cozy, and welcoming. One of the main reasons that encouraged me to write this review is the exceptional cleanliness. The hotel and the rooms are spotless — you can truly feel and smell the freshness everywhere. The room has everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the mattress offers top-level comfort. Breakfast was truly filling and delicious. I also noticed some reviews mentioning the coffee, and I can confirm it is indeed very good. I would like to sincerely thank the wonderful staff — from the front desk team during check-in and check-out, to the housekeeping staff and the restaurant employees. You are all amazing, and your professionalism truly makes a stay at this hotel completely worry-free. In my opinion, considering the location, service quality, cleanliness, and price, there is simply no better hotel in Ottawa.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staying here was a really lovely experience. The room surprised us in the best ways, with amenities and considerations which were unexpected yet so welcome. The front desk service members were fantastic. Again, a level of service that exceeded expectations. Finally, I will mention that the included breakfast was outstanding, and furthermore, the overall cleanliness of the building and room were simply impressing. Will return :)
