We stayed here for 1 night while traveling north to La Malbaie to meet up with our guided snowmobile tour. Gary from Bonvoyage Snow Adventures recommended we stay here and he was spot on! Easy on/off access to the highway; plenty of snowmobile trailer parking and an excellent restaurant Le Dijon on site. Rooms were clean and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to those in similar travel situation.

We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Quebec Resort from October 17–19, 2025. While there were some positives, our experience fell below the Hilton standard we typically expect. Our first room had numerous ladybugs on the curtains and windows. When we raised this with the front desk, we were told it was “ladybug season” and that this was normal. While I understand seasonal issues can occur, the concern was handled very casually, and it was only after specifically requesting a room change that action was taken. Unfortunately, the second room showed signs of the same issue, though to a lesser degree. We also discovered a broken lamp, which was promptly replaced, but it added to the impression that rooms may not be thoroughly checked prior to arrival. I would like to recognize Carlos, who was outstanding. He helped move a crib between rooms and replace the lamp with professionalism and a great attitude — a clear example of good service. What was most disappointing was the front desk experience. During our initial conversation, we could see Facebook open on a staff monitor behind the desk, which gave a poor impression of how our concern was being received. At checkout, we were not asked about our stay and were told the system was down and we would be checked out later. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope it helps improve housekeeping standards and front desk attentiveness. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this experience further with management.

We decided to visit Quebec City for New Year’s and booked our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort Quebec City well in advance for the night of January 1. At the time of booking, breakfast was not included unless we paid significantly more. When we arrived—before check-in—we checked the price for the same night and were very disappointed to see that it was much lower than what we had paid and that breakfast was included. We brought this to the attention of the receptionist, Juliane, but she showed no concern at all. We even mentioned that we were going to write a review and that someone from the brand might apologize or follow up in the name of the company. She did not care at all. So, well—here is my review. Her attitude was arrogant and completely detached, as if this was standard practice. This was especially frustrating since we had booked three rooms, not just one. In the end, we paid much more for the night, breakfast was not included, and we were left feeling ignored. Booking in advance turned out to be a mistake, as it would have been far cheaper to book the same day. To make matters worse, the coffee machine in our room was not working, and the shampoo and conditioner containers in the bathroom were empty and the phone was not working.Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and far below the level of service expected from a Hilton property.

They really need to upgrade their TV and phone. The room didn’t have a proper smart TV, and the one that was there didn’t work at all. The room phone was also out of service for the entire stay, so anytime you needed something, you had to go all the way down to the reception desk. That said, the staff was friendly and the overall service was good. But if you’re looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay, I still wouldn’t recommend this location.
