A Great Stay: Affordable, Clean, and Perfectly Located! My recent visit to Ontario was made excellent by my stay at the Woodbine Hotel & Suites. It's an affordable option that truly goes above and beyond in terms of comfort and service. The hotel's location is perfect, especially for travellers who need quick access to the airport or local attractions like the Woodbine Racetrack and Casino Woodbine. The proximity to the airport and major highways makes getting around the Greater Toronto Area very easy. The rooms were a standout feature – impeccably clean, nicely organized, and very comfortable. It was clear the housekeeping staff takes pride in their work, providing a welcoming and relaxing environment after a long day of travel or activities. One of the best perks was the complimentary buffet breakfast every morning. The selection was diverse, including eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, and all the usual options like toast and cereal, a great way to start the day without extra cost. Finally, the staff truly made the experience memorable. Every interaction, from the front desk to the breakfast area, was met with friendly, professional, and helpful service. Their dedication to guest comfort is a major reason why I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Great value for the price!

Where do I begin? We chose this hotel primarily because of its convenient location adjacent to the banquet hall where we were attending an event. Unfortunately, what should have been a comfortable and stress-free stay turned into a very disappointing experience. Upon entering the room, it was immediately clear that cleanliness and maintenance were lacking. There were visible stains on the bed sheets, which raised concerns about hygiene. The pillows provided were extremely small and inadequate for a comfortable night’s sleep. The carpet had a strong, unpleasant odor that was difficult to ignore and made the room feel unclean overall. The bathroom was in poor condition, appearing outdated and poorly maintained. There was visible mold present, which is both unsightly and concerning from a health perspective. Additionally, there were stains on the walls throughout the room, and basic amenities such as the phone and remote control were broken and non-functional. These issues suggest a broader lack of attention to detail and routine upkeep. For guests paying for accommodation, a clean, safe, and functional room should be the minimum standard. While the location is convenient, it does not compensate for the condition of the property. I strongly encourage management to address these cleanliness and maintenance concerns to ensure future guests have a more positive experience. Based on our stay, I would not recommend this hotel in its current state.

The heater in my room 104 was set at max 29c and it felt like it was blowing 17c not sure if it draws outside air (-18c) Aside from that it’s a pretty good hotel for value. Free parking, Good Free Wifi and Free Breakfast. Breakfast included hot food (nice home fries, scrambled eggs, sausage, ,,) beverages, take away cups etc, just enough to get you on your way. Yeah, I would stay again. Minutes from TCC on Dixon too.

Scam Alert ⚠️ Please be cautious before staying at this motel. It has been 3 days and I still haven’t received my deposit back. When I called to inquire, the staff member who answered was extremely rude and dismissive. I was told it’s “not their problem” if I don’t receive my deposit, which is completely unacceptable customer service. This is not how a business should be run. The management seriously needs to train their staff on basic professionalism and customer care. 0/10 stars frm my side. Thanks
