Dear Courtyard team, It's been my 10th or so (extensive) stay in your property and I would like to recognize the strong, at times exceptional, contribution you make to the Marriott brand. One does feel the property is highly well managed, and this reflects in the service quality and consistency, beyond the great facilities and location. Pros: Lobby and reception were very clean and new; room was nice with a good view; staff was welcoming. Cons: Refrigerator was noisy; climate control was slow (rooms took a long time to warm/cool); coffee quality was cheap; hotel parking was full after 8 pm. Overall: Not very different from a 3-star choice hotel. The nice parts were overshadowed by the issues, and it was ultimately not worth the price.

Late at night (11:30 pm) on the 30th, I went to the front desk to ask for a toothbrush, as I had forgotten mine. I was genuinely surprised to be told that such a basic hygiene item could not be provided and would need to be purchased instead — something that is still complimentary at many other hotels. The front desk agent was polite and empathetic, and I asked that a manager contact me the following morning. My request was acknowledged, my number was taken, and I was assured someone would follow up on December 31st. As of January 2nd, no one has reached out. As an elite-status guest at Courtyard by Marriott, this doesn’t make me more important than anyone else, but it does make the lack of service and follow-up even more disappointing. This wasn’t about the toothbrush — it was about basic hospitality and accountability, both of which were missing here.

I have stayed at many Courtyards and this one by far was the nicest. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. From the lobby to the rooms everything felt fresh and tidy, which gave a great first impression. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, making it very convenient for dining and entertainment. There are still some areas where the hotel could improve. The property does not have an EV charger which would be an important feature for many travelers. The front desk staff also seemed disengaged and not very welcoming. A friendlier and more professional attitude would make a big difference. The biggest disappointment was the bar service. The hotel advertises the bar as open until midnight, but when we returned around 10 PM we were told it was already closed. The response from the staff was curt and dismissive, which left a negative impression after what had otherwise been a pleasant stay. Overall, this is a clean and well located hotel that stands out compared to many other Courtyards. With improvements in customer service and more attention to advertised amenities, it could easily become a top choice in the area.
