We were very satisfied with our room and the hotel in general. It's a bit dated, but the hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and friendly. And free parking in a secured garage was a great bonus! Our room was also clean, odor-free and comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a really nice job with the room every day. The location is also ideal because it's located a few blocks from the busiest part of town, and offers a nice stroll into the heart of the shopping district or hop the bus to save a few steps. High Country Inn was a good value compared to other places in town. Cheers.

This hotel was utterly outstanding. The best we stayed in during our trip to 7 places in western Canada . It’s privately owned and the receptionist Jess recommended it when we met her in a restaurant; the whole team were outstanding. Jess and Ell front desk were so intelligent and genuinely helpful and inspirational. We loved our time there. The room was so very clean and comfortable and the whole feel was of caring for the guests in a family style. They went above and beyond in helping us with other issues on our trip and we are forever grateful for meeting Jess and all her support .

Super friendly and helpful staff, especially Dave if I memorize his name right. They helped with receiving and keeping our packages before our arrival and during our stay. Nice view from the room. Room can be a bit noisy when people walk by outside the room in the pathway. Hope they can improve the soundproofing of the door at lease. Bathroom is a bit small but the bathtub is big! Good housekeeping services. Nice location with shuttle bus stop right in front. Nice underground parking and equipment locker room.

Great value and friendly staff. Was really impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, from the shower to the kitchen kettle. We got a suite which has two rooms, Great for travelling with the kid, ample space, they had a crib waiting for us as well. Salt water pool is great to fill sometime with the baby as well.
