I stayed at the Best Western Plus Sands for a recent business trip and was thoroughly impressed. The room was very comfortable and offered a decent view of the area, making it a great place to wind down after work. One of the highlights was the breakfast-truly amazing and much better than your standard hotel fare. The location is unbeatable for fitness enthusiasts; being steps away from the Seawall allowed me to fit in a great morning run. I also had a blast using their indoor golf simulator, which was a unique and fun way to spend some downtime. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Vancouver for business or leisure!

We have stayed here several times before and continue to return fro a few days while overcoming the jetlag from the loooong flight from Australia. Great location with nearby English bay beach and Stanley Park for walking, as well as the Vancouver ferries to Granville Island not a far a walk away. The Safeway supermarket and a bottle shop 200 meters away is convenient to buy easy meals to use in the microwave provided. Very comfortable beds. The Happy Hour at the bar downstairs is a great unwind and it includes different food "Appies" each afternoon to pair with a relaxing drink. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good housekeeping each day.

I had a great stay at the Best Western Sands in Vancouver. The location honestly couldn’t be better — 10/10. Everything is within walking distance, and it made getting around the city so easy. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but Vince, the manager, deserves a special mention. He went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that guests felt genuinely welcomed. You can tell he truly cares about the experience people have at the hotel. Overall, a comfortable stay in an unbeatable location with exceptional service. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver.
