DO NOT MOVE IN TO UNIT 611- it’s infested with roaches. Put in multiple maintenance requests, all get marked falsely as “resolved” without anyone actually coming in to treat it. Bathroom fan hasn’t been working since the day we moved in, black mold- again maintenance requests keep being marked as “resolved” without anyone even looking at it. Buzzer hasn’t worked in months, same thing maintenance keeps marking it as “resolved”. People treat the hallway as the dump, leaving big bags of garbage/furniture everywhere, it’ll spend days in the hallway rotting. Only one elevator which is constantly down, meaning you have to depend on the stairs often. They will increase your rent, while at the same time advertising another unit(same exact unit) for significantly less.

DO NOT MOVE IN. - Horrible management (nothing ever gets done. I've had black mold for 2 years now). - 0 heat during the winter time - cockroaches + bedbugs - expensive, especially for location I can go on, but I'll save you the trouble. Just don't move here.

Worst place to live, there are bugs, it’s cold, I’ve been complaining about black mold in my bathroom for a year, no help whatsoever. No cameras in the halls, I’ve had expensive packages stolen. They advertised a pool when I moved in and never opened it.

AVOID RENTING HERE! The services at this apartment complex is horrible. there has been many issues with our unit ever since we have moved in and only a couple of them have been somewhat resolved after multiple complains. As of Dec 25th, it has been almost two full weeks we have had almost no heat in the building due to maintenance issues that are most likely not going to be fixed for weeks as the management has no idea when the company would resolve the issue. We have been cold and out of heat and hot water for days and have caught colds due to this issue and nobody seems to have a resolution to this issue and we were forced to buy space heaters and pay extra for the heaters and electricity bill to stay somewhat warm. There are countless other issues including a none-working elevator for the past 3 days and there has been no updates or postings from the management office to address these issues. There seems to be only one person running the whole operation for the building who seems nice, but is most likely overwhelmed with all the problems going on around the building. We have also reached out to Cogir company and have not heard back from them yet. Heat is a necessity at this time of the year and it should not be neglected when it can be easily fixed. We were told it would take anytime between 1-12 weeks to be fixed and so far there seems to be no action taken by the company which is ridiculous! Please keep shopping around if you are looking to rent an apartment in Ottawa and avoid this place at all cost! You will most likely find a much better place for the same price if not lower.
