As a wedding photographer, I always enjoy working at Old Mill. Getting ready at the hotel makes the day easy and relaxed. The rooms have beautiful natural light and a classic feel, perfect for candid moments and detail shots. The venue feels like an old mansion: wood beams, fireplaces, chandeliers, and elegant hallways. It adds character to every image without feeling over the top. And the photo options are endless. Indoor ceremony spaces. Elegant reception rooms. As a wedding photographer, The Old Mill Toronto is such a unique wedding venue to photograph. Between the historic interiors, and variety of backdrops all in one location, it offers so many beautiful photo opportunities throughout the grounds. The coordination team is supportive and always there to assist which makes a big difference in keeping everything on track. A lovely spot for couples wanting a classic Toronto wedding setting!

There’s lots to love about the Old Mill. It holds a special place in my heart as I’ve shared so many great memories. The food is great, the ambience amazing…staff have been hit and miss (but Tiana at Canto was lovely!). Where they keep failing is their rooms. There was mould all over the bathtub/shower, the shoddiest workmanship on the caulking, and the toilet paper was the cheapest,scratchiest one they could find). I will say the pull out sofa was one of the better ones I’ve experienced. I don’t even mind the dated decor, but the cleanliness and workmanship is a big fail.

We booked our Leadership offsite here and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Dimitri, Wilma, and the entire team for taking such great care of our meals. The hotel’s historic charm and variety of meeting spaces made it an ideal venue.
