Just enjoyed a very nice stay at Chateau Cartier, which was part of a spa gift package. The booking couldn't have been easier, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. We booked a King suite, and it was spotless, and we were able to check in early. The hotel is older but charming. I am not really sure what people expect from a hotel that has been around for over 30 years. Koena Spa was awesome, and the Aufugss sauna ritual was a bonus. The staff are incredibly helpful and changed out our towels and robes when we returned in the evening. Will definitely stay here again.

Love the location. Enjoyed services at the spa and Keona. Appreciate that you use bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Suggestions: change ripped lamp shade, mirror light is not working, doors are very dirty especially near the handles. The room would need some minor repairs/ updates. Please less perfume in reception area, quite overwhelming.

A cozy, old but well maintained hotel. Don't go expecting modern or luxurious facilities, and you won't be disappointed! Has all the basics and more, with gym, breakfast, in addition to the Spa and Golf based on the season. Room got a little bit of a damp smell, nothing that can't be solved with a window cracked open. TVs could use Google Cast, but got the basic channels. We had the room with the fireplace which was nice but at one point we got paranoid about monoxide poisoning, but I'm pretty sure they got dual detectors... Warning: washroom does not seem to have active exhaust fan, number 2 at your partner's risk!

My fiancé booked us a weekend getaway at the spa and a night at the hotel for my birthday and to celebrate our engagement. The spa was amazing but the hotel was very underwhelming for the price we paid. He mentioned it was for my birthday and to celebrate our engagement. However we got no upgrades or even a quick birthday wish from staff or congratulations. On top of that we were told at check in that breakfast is served from 7:30-10:30am, but were not informed it was not complimentary, the breakfast is at the restaurant in the hotel, therefore paying more for breakfast on top of the room when we could have ordered in. As well in our room the washroom was very small and we had expected a nice big tub for us to enjoy on our romantic getaway but there was nothing special about the suite other then there being a living room area with an uncomfortable couch. We would have booked the regular King room if we had known there was no real difference in booking the suite. There was nothing sweet about it. The staff was very nice but information was not relayed to the standard we expected and were overall not satisfied with our stay. I don’t think we will be booking here again to pay over $300 for a room with no complimentary services included. I would however definitely recommend the spa as it was what we were expecting and more!
