Nicest hostel ever. Staff are so nice and from all over the world - happy travelers on a stop. Shared showers were really clean. Room was clean, a bit dated. Views are amazing. Shared kitchen area was clean. You get free bus tickets and the buses go all over Banff.

Stayed here for about two months, the staff is amazing and the events are great. Only thing is it’s 2026 we should have bunk beds with privacy curtains at the price this is lol. Kitchens and bathrooms are good, had zero theft issues or anything so the guests are good too. Staff is very accommodating and responsive, which is always nice.

Best hostel I've stayed at. Overall, it's clean and accommodating. The parking lot is somewhat small and it gets very icy in the winter. All you get is a towel and bed sheets. Body soap is included in the shower. Make sure to bring conditioner and shower shoes / flip-flops, because the shower is down the hall. There are kitchen amenities, communal refrigerators and pantry, there's a casual restaurant, plus a bar. They offer activities practically daily. Staff are friendly and helpful! A free bus pass is provided to help you get to downtown Banff if you don't have a car.

This place is amazing if you’re cool with a dorm—think of it as the ultimate backpacker HQ. The shared kitchen? Honestly the best I’ve ever used: spotless, massive, and packed with everything you could need. Bonus: a free local bus pass makes exploring the area ridiculously easy. The free breakfast is a sweet perk, and the common area is basically a hangout paradise—perfect for swapping travel stories or just chilling. Planning a mountain adventure? Ask the front desk to borrow bear spray—they’ve got your back, literally. This spot makes you feel safe, comfortable, and ready for whatever adventure comes next.
