⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Excellent stay with one significant hygiene oversight My stay at the Banff Inn was overall excellent. We were upgraded to a king suite at check-in, which was a welcome touch. The room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable, and the front desk staff consistently warm and professional. While the tub is beginning to show normal age-related wear, it remained clean and fully functional. Two factors prevented a full five-star rating: 1. Lack of view — not an issue for me personally, but important for many guests such as the person who was with me. 2. Placement of the drinking glasses — All glasses were stored in the bathroom, directly beside the toilet. From a hospitality and sanitation standpoint, this is a serious concern. Bathroom aerosol is unavoidable, even with the lid down, and proper room setup should always account for this. This suite had several safe, accessible surfaces for glassware, and I’ve provided photos showing alternate, hygienic placement options. Paid underground parking may bother some guests, but I appreciated the added security and the ample space around my vehicle. Overall, this is a solid 4.5-star property with excellent staff and comfortable rooms. Correcting the glassware placement would meaningfully elevate guest experience and bring the room setup in line with standard hygiene best practices.

Room was quite nice. Atmosphere is not as fancy as other hotels but still nice. Our room was not made up. We were in a corner and the other suite next to us had their no service sign out. We wanted service. But our room was not looked after. We came back and left mid day and I sent a note via text to the front desk which is how they told us to communicate. They waited until the cleaning staff had gone for the day to respond telling us our do not disturb sign was out, which is wrong. We were only there 2 nights with early check out. So would have been nice to have had the bed made for us. We did however very much enjoy the steam room and the sauna. Did not try the hot tub as it was pretty busy.

Our experience at this hotel was not great at all. The front desk lady did not even greet us properly and was rude. The hotel rooms are decent, Parking is super bad we could not find a spot. We were promised two rooms side-by-side and when we showed up here, they literally lied to us and said this is the only what’s available. We booked two same size rooms and one of the room is half the size than the other. I would say there are better hotels in Banff don’t book this one, Unless you have to.

Solid four out of five and overall we really enjoyed our stay here. No complaints at all, staff was nice and accommodating, the location is quieter, rooms were modern and well appointed, the big hot tub was nice, and it did have a casual dinner restaurant if you didn't want to go out. What kept it from a 5/5 were a few small things such as housekeeping often not arriving until 3-4 PM after we returned which meant it got pushed off several days. Also be advised that not only is there no breakfast there is not coffee service, which means either K cups or going out for a 10 min walk. Lastly there really isn't any real common area, which was fine, but just not 5/5 rating. The location also means you walk 10-15 min to go out at night for dinner. Overall would definitely recommend, good value, we got what we expected, and we had a great time in Banff.
