We came up to celebrate our anniversary as we wanted a quiet mountain retreat. The cabin was cozy and charming, exactly what we were hoping for. We were even more impressed when we went for dinner. Monica, our waitress ,was very friendly and efficient, and we were made very comfortable right from the start. The food was delicious, especially the Short Ribs that we both really enjoyed. We also appreciated that the wines and liquor were all Canadian. Kudos to all the staff . They made our Anniversary one to remember!

We had an incredible stay at Storm Mountain Lodge! The historic buildings were not lost on us. Staying in one of the heritage cabins felt special and inspiring, like stepping back in time while still enjoying all the comforts we needed. It added so much character and meaning to our stay. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The setting is absolutely stunning—peaceful, serene, and the perfect place to truly unplug and slow down. The food was fantastic—beautifully prepared, flavourful, and such a treat after a day out in the mountains. There are also plenty of beautiful hikes nearby, so it’s easy to spend the day exploring and then come back to relax by the fire. I would highly recommend Storm Mountain Lodge to anyone looking for a quiet, rejuvenating mountain escape.

We had a wonderful stay at Storm Mountain Lodge. The cabins are incredibly cozy and feature a fireplace, which truly enhances the overall experience. The restaurant offers an excellent selection of dishes, including bison steak and ribs — both are a must-try. Overall, I would highly recommend this place.

We had a great stay, the cabin was great, clean and cozy, exactly what we were looking for. We went to the lodge for dinner and the food was great. The service was not. We were actually forgotten. (On more than one occasion I think) We gave our drink order and appies, for our drink.. then nothing. For over an hour. Although the waitress came over and admitted to gorgetting we were sitting there, it didn't really improve. Tips to the other waitress who helped out abs the cooks.
