My family and I stayed here recently for two nights for a family reunion nearby. The pool area was clean and warm, but the room was not good. The walls, bed, chair, desk and dresser all had tons of scratches, stains, and marks. The wallpaper was peeling in many places and the carpets were covered in stains. The bathroom shelves were covered in dust. It felt like a bad motel. The staff were friendly but not very helpful. They didn’t help with our family’s bags even though the man at the desk saw me struggling. Dirty dishes in the hallway for over 24 hours before someone came to get it. Stay here if you kist but lower your expectations.

Booked a regular room, found lots of hair on my sheets. You could tell the room wasn’t fully cleaned. Spoke to the front desk immediately, the worker switched me to another room but again the room wasn’t cleaned (trash in the garbage still, towels on the washroom floor. The lady working that night was not helpful , but the lady working the next morning (Saturday) was helpful. Good location across from the Pearle.

⭐️ 1/5 – Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had This was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had at a hotel, and I travel often. I genuinely regret booking this place and strongly warn anyone thinking about staying here to think twice. We booked this hotel through Booking.com, where it clearly states that the security deposit can be paid with either a credit or debit card. That was completely fine with me, and I arrived expecting exactly that. Instead, I was met by a front desk employee named Satinder, who immediately made the experience unpleasant and frustrating. He suddenly claimed that his own policy was $300 on debit or $150 on credit, and on top of that, it had to be a physical card. No Apple Pay, no digital wallet—nothing. In 2025, being told Apple Pay is unacceptable is absolutely ridiculous, especially when almost every modern hotel accepts it without issue. This was never mentioned anywhere during booking. When I questioned this and tried to calmly explain what Booking.com stated, his attitude became dismissive and rude instead of helpful. There was no attempt to resolve the issue or meet halfway—just repeating his rules as if customers are supposed to magically know policies that aren’t disclosed. To make things even worse, he later threatened to call the police on a customer who was being completely friendly and respectful. That alone was shocking and incredibly unprofessional. I’ve never seen a hotel employee escalate a situation so unnecessarily, especially when no one was being aggressive or disruptive. Customer service is supposed to make guests feel welcome and safe. Instead, Satinder made the entire experience uncomfortable, hostile, and stressful. I have stayed in hotels all around the world, and I can confidently say this is the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. This hotel seriously needs to retrain its staff or reconsider who they put at the front desk. One person can absolutely ruin an entire stay, and that’s exactly what happened here. If you’re considering staying at this Burlington waterfront hotel, save yourself the headache and book somewhere else. And if you do end up here, do everything you can to avoid dealing with Satinder. Never again.

The weekend of October 3rd- 6th was my wedding day. I booked the waterfront hotel because our photographer raved about the hotel. When hiccups happened and miscommunications happened the staff upgraded us to the jacuzzi suite with no extra charge. All my friends and family said the breakfast was great, the staff were so friendly. The rooms were so clean. The views were fantastic! This was the best place to stay and I will be telling everyone to consider spending time here. As a bride, the process was so easy and the staff was so friendly. Everyone made me feel special on the best day of our lives.
