This is an Historic hotel built in the 1890's. The rooms are well appointed with fridge, microwave and coffee and airconditioner. High ceilings and a lovely view of the Fraser River. Comfortable bed with Canadian made furniture! Location is on an upswing with new businesses moving in. And the Westminster Quay within walking distance. Value for money here. We would recommend and will return ourselves.

Clean comfy room but walls not soundproof. Friendly & experienced staff. It was a Fri night & bar downstairs, & I'm a senior so... lol. And still waiting for release of $100.00 holding charge. They blame bank & bank said wait a week before investigation. So i'm waiting. Just 1 minute walk from Columbia Station.

We had a great time staying here, but one thing I have complain is microwave missing(essential thing???), somehow we got hot water with easy fix from coffee maker. I know the place is so convinient for bus rider like me, 2 mins from Columbia Station, that is why the train noise is there, until 1am.

Pretty tired building, could use a clean and update. The room I stayed in facing the river was very loud all night - bar patrons from the hotel bar were very loud when it closed and the train whistles sounded in the early hours. Not a quiet place. Also the beds lacked adequate bedding. Just a thin blanket no duvet.
