The staff were fantastic to deal with. Friendly and helpful. This is an older hotel but still provides good value for the price. Breakfast was fantastic. It's location to the airport is good and with the included shuttle makes it easy. Thanks again for the stay

We had a wonderful time here. The standout aspect was the staff- they were so kind! Everyone from the housekeeping to the front desk to the breakfast service and even maintenence were just SO nice!! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially the Christmas decorations. The hotel even smelled like Christmas. This hotel fit in our budget, came with airport shuttle service, and met all our needs. It was a memorable visit and I would love to stay again.

I remember Abercorn from years ago when it was still a good hotel. It’s not worth staying there for more than one night, maybe two. The rooms are spacious but old and in need of some TLC. Stained carpets, old and thinning towels. Water in shower going from warm to scolding hot and back, the temperature dial very finicky. The “breakfast-buffet” an insult to call it that. Only eggs, no bacon or sausage, cut in half croissants and cut in half chocolate muffins from Costco across the street, some fruit, yogurt, and different bread. Very cheap indeed! A lady trying to look busy as she cleans the same spots several times with and without a cleaning rag, which was not rinsed or exchanged in between and then also used for cleaning the tables. I am certain that this was the saddest breakfast buffet I have ever seen! And I’ve been to some places! No room cleaning included. The hotel is relatively inexpensive and it clearly shows why! I have stayed at the Abercorn twice in 2025, and will definitely do so again in the future. The hotel is somewhat dated, but the rooms have been very clean, and the beds have been very comfortable. Lots of hot water too! I spend most of my hours there with my eyes closed anyways! It is a great stopover for an early flight out of YVR or a late flight inbound. The free shuttle bus starts at 5 AM and you can book a spot on it. The hotel is about 700 meters from the Bridgeport SkyTrain station. An easy walk across the Costco parking lot. The Chinese restaurant that is in the same building is fabulous! It was packed the night that we were there.
