This is my second Quadreal's building experience and this one is even better! Our unit is quiet and calm, lovely neighbors and we really enjoy living here. The maintenance team is super helpful and fast! They do whatever you ask for in a timely manner and they are professional in what they do. I need to mention Masoud is one of the best and he goes above and beyond when you ask for his help. The building is well disciplined however I know some younger tenants feel it's not fair to them! :))

I have lived for close to 3 years here and this is my first home in Canada. Everyone here is very friendly, from the security to the maintenance and everyone in between. From the time I first entered I felt extremely welcomed. There are many things which I am grateful for and appreciate. The maintenance is always on point and it doesn't matter what time you call them. They will always enter in with a friendly smile and get your sorted out ASAP. Masoud especially does an amazing job at this. The community staff always have these small cute events, from pizza parties to holiday breakfast, it helps guests mingle. Forming a true community. The location of this building is just precision. Close to both train lines and also buses. You won't go wrong living here. It is such a pleasure to live here and the actual staff here make it so welcoming. Thank you for all that you do!

We love living here. The maintenance team is 10/10, especially Masoud who is lovely and so helpful. Everything gets fixed and sorted out really quickly, and we really appreciate the management team’s eagerness to help. The building is so conveniently located, too - and well kept and clean. The occasional tenants’ events the management organizes are so nice and thoughtful. We hope to stay here for a long time!

I lived here for over 15 years. Here is my thorough review. The positives: + The screening process for applicants is thorough (and clearly some reviewers have not been happy about it) but once you are in, management treat you like a friendly neighbor. It is nice to see them and say hi day to day. They host a couple of pizza party socials in the building roughly twice a year, free for all residents. I will miss them. + Maintenance is crazy fast. Nearly every maintenance request I have ever had was resolved in less than 24 hours. I think the longest I ever had to wait for someone to show up was 2 days. I even had many requests filled the same day within hours. + The gym is insane. This is no ordinary apartment gym. It was practically my second home, my sanctuary. You need to see it in person to understand how well equipped it is. + I’ve never felt unsafe while inside the building. Floor by floor key fob access is excellent and no tenant has ever been a sketchy dangerous person. + The outdoor patio/garden area is a nice place to chill and meditate. Some people like to smoke in the designated smoking area and I can tell it’s their happy place. In the summer they unlock the gas barbeques and people have cookouts with their families and it’s really cute. + Barnabas Group keep the building clean nearly every day you see them cleaning the floors and elevators and stuff. + The residents have SO many cute dogs. + The business center room has nice chairs and free wifi and I see people using it all the time. The whole second floor seems to be a place where a lot of people like to do work but it’s never crowded or busy. + Parcel Pending locker system works really well 99% of the time and is a very convenient way to receive your packages. For the exceptions, the drivers just leave stuff in the lobby. The downsides: - A tower (930) has good elevators but B tower (980) has one elevator that frequently breaks. This is not the fault of Quadreal, it’s a function of Richmond Elevator being garbage. It is what it is, and it means that sometimes you only get one working elevator in B tower. I would estimate the bad elevator still has 90% uptime though. - The neighbourhood frequently has sketchy characters running around and yelling, just like a lot of downtown. I find this stressful. - The building is parallel to Granville Street, so on weekends things get noisy until 3AM. This is in fact the main reason why I am leaving, I am just too old for late night partying now and I want a quiet neighborhood. Conclusion: Basically if you are okay with the neighbourhood’s vibe, you should check out Metropolitan Towers. Give my regards to Aleks, Ivanka, Susanna, Snezaha and the rest of the OG Serbian crew. They have been here for 20+ years because they are good at what they do. Also all the reviews saying nice things about Masoud are correct. He is such a warm, kind man.
