I had an exceptional stay at Hôtel PUR in Québec City. From the moment I pulled up, the service was phenomenal. Jacques greeted me right away, helped with the car, and was incredibly attentive every time I came and went. His professionalism and warm hospitality truly elevated the experience. The room itself was modern, clean, and comfortable, with an amazing view over the city. Unfortunately, the visibility wasn’t great during my stay due to the weather — but even then, you could tell how stunning the view must be on a clear day. Although I didn’t get a chance to try the hotel’s restaurant, it definitely had a great vibe, especially with the stylish bar area. The hotel’s location is another strong point: surrounded by restaurants and bars within walking distance, and even the Uber rides to other areas were quick and easy. Whether for business or pleasure, Hôtel PUR delivers on comfort, convenience, and service. I’ll definitely be booking here again soon.

Hotel Pur was a fantastic hotel for my stay in Quebec City! The location was fantastic and convenient to all different parts of the city. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The highlight of Hotel Pur though has to be the concierge Jacques. Jacques was such a warm, friendly face greeting you as you entered. He provided phenomenal recommendations - I ate at every place he recommended and not once was I disappointed! Va bene, L’Orygine, Le Cendrillon, Pizza No. 900 were among some of his excellent recs. He also was so kind enough to prepare me three pages of activities when I mentioned I finished work early and I’d have a free day. He took the time to confirm hours and prices for each option depending on what mood I was in. He was also very helpful in securing me reservations which I imagine wasn’t easy with the crowded restaurants! Jacques was such a delight - a huge thank you to him for everything!

The front desk staff were consistently rude and passive-aggressive, and repeatedly refused to take responsibility for their mistakes. They did not follow through on anything they said they would do and instead attempted to place the blame on us. On one occasion, my wife and I asked for water at the front desk, and the night staff responded in an extremely rude manner. We also requested an extra pillow; after waiting three hours with no follow-up, we called again and were told it would be handled. We ultimately did not receive the pillow until the next day, despite asking the front desk multiple times. We had also emailed 1.5 month and followed up a week before our stay to adjust our booking. But because THEY did not respond to us, the booking was not adjusted. Front desks blamed US even though they weren’t responding to emails sent twice in advance. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was just as disappointing. The service was very slow, the food was overpriced, and the quality was poor. The chicken we were served was clearly undercooked, and the pasta was both bland and undercooked. When we raised concerns about the raw chicken, one of the waiters responded defensively and made excuses rather than addressing the issue appropriately. Overall, this stay was extremely frustrating due to poor service, lack of accountability, and subpar dining. We would not recommend this hotel. The front desk staff made the stay significantly worse. Do not come here.

Stayed at the hotel last week. The property looked promising at booking, however, it fell short of the expectations during the stay. The property is renovated but there were many things missing - 1. No internet TV integration yet. If you have toddlers, have your ipads charged. 2. Fridge wasn't working. Had to be replaced. 3. No central air conditioning/heating. Rooms have individual cooling/heating units which are noisy. 4. There was dust on the bed headboard and bedside light bulbs. 5. The room locker requires a tech to stop by & give a quick crash course. 6. Elevators, although fast, were dusty and were not cleaned. 7. If your parking is waived but car checkout barcode/tag isn't working on the scanner, make sure you to not exit by paying with your card & expect refund later. Hotel will not refund. I had that experience after being informed by front desk to email receipt so they can process refund. 8. Overall - The property needs lot more upgrades to be considered in the upper-to-mid range of tribute portfolio. On a positive note, the hotel staff was nice and accomodating.
