Nothing says “premium urban living” like Gestion Immobilière Montréal. From day one, they’ve clearly embraced a visionary approach: “Let’s redefine inconvenience.” Rent payments? Limited methods only. Because paying rent should feel like solving a monthly escape puzzle. The building itself? A seasonal experience. Leaks? Complimentary. Missing windows? Optional feature. Frozen pipes and icy room corners? Perfect if you’ve always wanted indoor winter camping. Internet provided by management? Of course. And outages? Totally normal. If you work from home, just let your employer know you’re part of an immersive “digital uncertainty” program. Need to speak to someone in an office? That’s adorable. There isn’t one. Lost your apartment keys? Several residents have embarked on that heroic journey. It builds resilience. Possibly survival skills. Hot water issues? Oh, you’ll become a certified expert in creating tickets. By now residents should be charging consultation fees for navigating the building stack application. It’s less a support system and more a delay simulator — beautifully designed to keep responsibility at a safe, comfortable distance. And now, my personal favorite part: I’m just waiting for the day they blame everything on the previous management. Leaks? Old management. Missing windows? Old management. Internet outages? Obviously old management. No hot water? Historic issue. Because nothing attracts new tenants like saying, “That wasn’t us.” Classic rebranding strategy: inherit the chaos, deny the chaos, market the chaos as “under transition,” and gently guide more people into the same experience. All in all, I’m counting down to the end of my lease. Not moving out — escaping.

Lovely clean rooms with kitchenette. Friendly staff in a great location. Close to the metro or shopping malls, cinema. Rooms start to be a little dated for my taste with too much carpets. It's a personal preference. This is why 4 stars, but i still came here and would book it again. It was not my first visit. It hosts good, warm breakfast each morning. Location is safe with parking underground. For larger vehicles there is a parking nearby that can accommodate. Room to stop and drop luggage at the entrance. No valet. Popular for business trip. 20 dollar trip in taxi to old port.

If i could give it cero stars, i would. I strongly caution anyone considering renting here. The building suffers from serious management and operational issues that significantly affect tenants’ quality of life. Security was removed, which has resulted in repeated thefts and trespassing incidents. Rather than implementing solutions, management has blamed residents for stolen packages and even threatened disciplinary measures instead of improving safety. The living conditions are concerning. There is a persistent smell of marijuana through the ventilation system, ongoing reports of smoking inside the building, recurring false fire alarms that go off frequently, and reports of cockroach infestations. Complaints are met with warning emails, but there is little evidence of meaningful enforcement or resolution. Basic services have also been mishandled. Mailboxes were promised over a year ago but were never installed, leading to lost mail. Cleaning services that were advertised were not delivered. Internet service is unreliable and frequently crashes. The laundry fee was increased from $2.50 to $4.50 per machine, and concerns were reportedly dismissed. Administrative practices raise additional concerns. There have been cases where lease transfers were requested but denied, only for management to later approach applicants separately with cheaper unit offers. Tenants report inconsistent lease terms and significant difficulty recovering deposits. In one case, a tenant with one month remaining on their lease was told they would need to pay a three-month penalty to leave. Rent increases exceeding the percentage stablished by the government were justified under commercial status, despite prior statements that the building had transitioned to residential. Emergency support is ineffective. The “emergency” contact number operates only during business hours, meaning tenants locked out during evenings, weekends, or holidays must pay locksmith fees themselves, without reimbursement. Overall, management appears reactive rather than proactive and dismissive of tenant concerns. Prospective renters should carefully consider these patterns before signing a lease

I came for surgery downtown at Westmount. This was the perfect location, and the staff couldn’t have been better. My husband stayed there while I had my operation and enjoyed the delicious free breakfast every morning. There are grocery stores etc steps away for meals and snacks. Having a little kitchenette saved so much money! When I got out of the surgical centre they provided me with a raised toilet seat, AND they let us check out 2 hours later so we didn’t have to rush to the airport. They were so accommodating, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Thank you to ALL your staff for making this a perfect stay!!! God bless you all for your kindness to compassion to me after my operation. We can’t wait to come back here to stay as tourists and check out downtown! Thank you again for everything, and see you again soon!
