Hotel name has changed to Plaza Hotel. Room is good size. Fridge and microwave in room. Breakfast buffet available for about $15 per person. It was decent. Front staff Friendly. Parking garage avaliable for $14 per day. Automatic door, can come and go as you please.

Says a pool and Kid friendly activities. There's nothing kid friendly about it. We have 2 kids. Pool was closed. Our tv doesn't work. Hotel phone doesn't have a number to call front desk so I had to go all the way to the lobby to explain our tv issue. No one showed up to help fix the tv... Not impressed for what we expected price wise. Not to mention the leaking ceiling soaking the carpet in the upper lobby area. Update** woke up this morning to go to the Breakfast Buffet they have a sign for starting at 6:30. Tried at 7, tried at 8am... NOTHING but they do have a cafe open for purchase (NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED AT ALL)

This hotel seems to be getting a lot of backlash, but it's just fine to me. A lot of people complain about it being "old" or "outdated," but honestly? Take that with a grain of salt, as it looks fine to me. But here's a heads-up: my review is rather lengthy as I try to get all the features in. So bear with me. An impressive lobby greets you as you enter the hotel. The check-in staff seem to be courteous, and nearby that area is a small mini-bar. The bedroom itself has a closet with a (non-functioning) safe, fold-out luggage table and some extra bedding plus an iron. A small coffee machine sits nearby, with a fridge beneath it, and both work just fine. This corridor has two doors, one for the hall and one for the actual room. This helps to dial down the sound outside. I found the beds had soft pillows, the TV would work and powers on with a loud noise (good luck finding anything good, English speakers), the curtains open to a dirty white view as the window is quite dirty. Pretty solid, though, and the bathroom has some variety with a hair dryer. Moving onto the buffet, there's a pretty good selection of foods available. You can choose to enjoy the fruit, cereals, hot food and pastries they have to offer. This was the first time I discovered French toast in a buffet setting, and I added caramel sauce to it. Quite delish! Cookies, muffins and bread add to the pastry selection. Yum. There is a lounge on the second floor that you can access from the stairs near the artificial waterfall, with a payphone and chairs to relax in. I'll try to speed things up and say that the parking was confusing, but supposedly you are intended to park underground. Sound good? Overall a pretty good hotel, but they should clean the windows, fix the safe and maybe the vending machine on the 4th floor? Chateauneuf isn't that bad otherwise.

my wife and I spent 2 nights here we just left now. I’ll break down our pros and cons. Pros: very large room, good location, very good price price. Cons: very run down and outdated, room was not cleaned well, windows were dirty on the inside and out, virtually no bedding, no housekeeping until check out, all the staff wore hoodies, couldn’t tell who worked there. If you approach this as a cheap hotel you won’t be disappointed, if you compare it to a great hotel you will be disappointed.
