Budget room, it was fine. The bed was comfortable, the TV on the wall looked like it was from the early 2000's and small. Loud, you can easily hear the people in the room beside you and walking the halls. Unfortunately the person beside my room decided to start screaming at 6 in the morning, waking me up, front desk was kind and dealt with it. Quiet after about 20-30 minutes. The power in half my room (bathroom, TV, and lamps) was not working for about half a day. Didn't even bother complaining about it because I was tired after travel and taking an exam. Used the provided Keurig in the room to make coffee that I brought with me from home, tasted like burnt old coffee from the machine. Perks: Conveniently downtown and the staff were friendly.

We have stayed at Moda Hotel twice in the past 2 months and we have had a lovely experience each time! Their prices are very reasonable. The rooms are small, but cozy! Perfect if youre just staying a few night. The staff are super friendly! The location is supreme too.

I had a great stay at the Moda and will definitely return. The hotel is clean and comfortable with great, friendly staff. I was able to check-in a bit early and get parked in the deck across the street. The deck is secure and the hotel parking is inside a second gated area. Very secure and located across the street for $18 CAD. The room was comfortable and quiet. The location was perfect as I was able to walk everywhere during my stay. There are three restaurants on the ground floor and you receive two 10% off coupons at arrival. This is my new go-to for value, comfort and hospitality in downtown Vancouver!

Had a great time at this hotel. It may be old, but the accommodations are truly satisfactory. The rooms are clean, and the corridors smell fresh in morning maybe they are spraying scent The staff are warm and welcoming, including the room cleaners. Breakfast is not included, but the restaurant beside the lobby is a good option. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk to the supermarket, eateries, and more. Overall, commendable and great value for money.”
