I just wanted to reach out to recognize some truly great customer service. Fred (GM) and Evan at the front desk were excellent and took amazing care of my family during our recent stay. While I’ve certainly stayed at hotels with more amenities, what really stood out here was how clean the hotel is, the great breakfast, and most importantly, the people running it. It’s clear this is a place managed by people who genuinely care about their guests. Because of the outstanding service from Fred and Evan, I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again. Thank you both for making our stay such a positive experience!

On January 27th around 3:00 PM, our check-in experience was absolutely terrible. The female receptionist and the male staff member at the front desk were extremely rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. From the moment we arrived, their behavior was disrespectful and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. This is not acceptable under any circumstances. Despite having requested a king-size bed, we were told on arrival that it was “not available” and were forced to accept a queen-size bed without any explanation, alternative solution, or even a basic apology. Their attitude clearly showed that guest satisfaction meant nothing to them. The room was shockingly unprepared and far below basic hotel standards. There was no drinking water, no soap, and no toothpaste provided, which is unacceptable for any hotel claiming to offer proper accommodation. Although the rest of the staff were generally fine, the behavior of the two reception staff working on the evening of 27-01-2026 completely ruined our stay. In fact, the experience was so bad that despite booking for two nights, we checked out the very next morning because we felt uncomfortable and dissatisfied. This was a deeply disappointing, unpleasant, and unacceptable experience. Based on how we were treated, I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel. I will never return and do not recommend this place to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay. The rate was very reasonable. Although it’s an older building it smelt fresh and was very clean. My favourite part was how welcoming and kind the staff members were. It felt like visiting family. I highly recommend this hotel!

My partner and I always stay here and find the place clean and the hotel staff pleasant and helpful. Today I had to chat with reception over, what I call disturbing incident that has happened more than once now. Early in the morning at breakfast there are 2 well dressed middle aged men who are always there. There are very friendly but they are extremely religious. They have a Bible on the table and try their upmost to promote their beliefs to the hotel guests. They are not unpleasant but I feel that lots of different people stay here from many diverse back grounds, many different religions and different sexual orientations. This is NOT a church and management should not let the breakfast area be a place for their promotion. Today I heard one of them basically saying to a guest to repent sins, its not to late. They are using the hotel to trap people into their religious web. What they do outside of the hotel is their business but not in my opinion should this be allowed to continue. I ask that the hotel put a stop to this immediately or we will be finding accommodation elsewhere.
