If I could give their service a zero I would. We booked with a group for a cheer comp of young children and when the kids tried to play their night 3-11 auditor Mariyam was extremely rude and scared our children to the point some were scared to even open their doors. While I understand a groups of 25 kids are loud we did our best to keep it a minimal but she did not care and was swearing at the parents. The second night we stayed their was a wedding party on our same floor and they were very loud at 10pm while our kids were asleep by 8 and we never complained because it’s a wedding enjoy but we were very scared she would blame us and lie and behold she did. When I said hey it’s the wedding party she told me the wedding party did their wedding here but never booked rooms mean while they were all on our floor and even got lost 3 times and with video proof of the bride with a dress on our floor she stuck to no they are not staying here it’s you guys. When I asked to speak to someone else she told me she didn’t care and we were wrong. I am so disappointed in the way they organized rooms and talked to everyone. I would of rathered slept in my car then deal with her. Will never ever be back. I will say valet and check in was smooth and very polite. Their cleaner Manuel was sweet, kind, funny and overall a joy she ruined it for us.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 - Absolutely Exceptional Anniversary Stay! We stayed at the Lord Elgin Hotel in Ottawa for two nights to celebrate our anniversary, and honestly, the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The team went above and beyond to make our stay special - they surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade, a handwritten anniversary card (such a sweet touch!), and even a complimentary cheesecake that completely made our day. The staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful at every step. You can really feel that they care about your experience. A huge shout-out to Amanda, who helped arrange our early check-in and explained everything so clearly. Due to last-minute travel changes, we arrived in Ottawa at 7 AM - I requested an early check-in, but I wasn’t expecting the room to actually be ready right at 7 AM. It was, and that gesture alone made our entire day smoother. The location is unbeatable - just minutes from Parliament and right in the heart of downtown. Super convenient for walking around and exploring. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and felt genuinely taken care of. I’d highly recommend the Lord Elgin to anyone visiting Ottawa. Big thanks to the entire team for making our anniversary trip so memorable! ❤️🏨

I had the most wonderful stay here! The accommodations are very comfortable and every team member was welcoming, but a special shoutout to Bich! She went above and beyond providing me what I needed throughout my stay, and even surprised me with a small gift on my last day. I can't wait to come back soon thanks to this amazing hospitality!

This is a review for hiring this venue for an event. We were so delighted to get to host our Globus Tours in the Trillium Ballroom. The venue was incredible and very adaptable to what we needed. The team took really good care of our guests and we were able to present easily and have a very engaging night with our group. Will definitely look at these guys immediately for our next venue needs in the area. The hotel staff took wonderful care of us overnight as well. The renos look so good!
