This was a great little hotel. The Lamphouse Hotel was perfectly placed in Canmore. Amazing views from our suite of the three sister mountains while being able to view the other mountain ranges. Close to great restaurants such as the Local and Brix. Steps away from amazing shopping, hiking trails and lookout. 10/10 recommend for a budget-friendly stay.

Loved our stay…SO MUCH! The room was clean, cozy and very comfortable. Great coffee for the morning. The hot tube was down and we were able to use their sister hotels which meant so much after a full day of skiing. Staff were efficient and friendly. The location is also awesome and convenient, very walkable neighbourhood. Would highly recommend and will stay with them again when visiting in the future. Oh and the bed was heavenly!

The room was comfortable and stayed nice and warm despite it being -10°C overnight, which was great after a cold day out. Location was perfect for walking around town/eating out. Motel was reasonably priced. A couple of small improvements would help — the lighting was quite dark after dusk, with some bulbs flickering or not working, and the bathroom was very cold at night as there’s no heater in there. That said, it was a pleasant stay overall and I’d happily return.

Sometimes you book a hotel just for the night… and end up wishing you stayed longer. That’s exactly what happened with The Lamp House in Canmore. We stayed at The Lamp House for one night and were genuinely impressed. The service was friendly and smooth from start to finish, and the room was spotless. Everything feels new and well-maintained, from the furniture to the overall design — modern, clean, and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the amazing mountain view from the window (I’ll be adding photos because it really speaks for itself). Waking up to that view in Canmore is something special. Huge pluses: Private on-site parking Hot tub, perfect after a day in the mountains Quiet, cozy atmosphere with attention to detail This place feels thoughtfully done and easy to relax in. If you’re looking for a clean, modern stay with great views and solid amenities, The Lamp House is a fantastic choice in Canmore. Would absolutely stay here again.
