So many cherished memories of years lived in Ottawa go back to Le Paris Apartments whose fantastic location let us fully enjoy the nation's capital - both its iconic historic sites and gorgeous riverside parks (even overlooking the picturesque hills of Quebec) plus walking access to the best of stores, facilities, and whatnot! You can hardly think of a more central but at the same time quiet, as well as affordable but so cozy and well maintained apartment building in this peaceful Lowertown area - with that incredible sightseeing and convenience all around! I've Been Living Here in this Community Since February of 2014.. The Building is Clean, Bedbug & Cockroach *FREE .. The Previous Owner 'Homestead Land Holdings Limited' took VERY Good Care of the Building itself as well as the Grounds. The *NEW Owner 'CAP REIT' who Took OwnerShip in Late December 2020, has Done, a Wide Variety of Upgrades, Adding Security Cameras on every Floor, Stairwells, Laundry, Lobby & Parking Garage(Inside & Out), 'CAP REIT', also, has a Dedicated & Reliable Cleaning Service, a few Days, a Week, that ensures, that the Building is Clean & Comfortable for it's Residents. There is NO Smoking in ANY Aspect(Drugs or Vaping) within the Building or on the Premises, this Includes in Tenant Suites, CAP REIT, has Indicated & will Maintain a *Smoke Free, Building & Community for ALL it's Tenants ... Which Improves the Security & Overall Safety & Enjoyment of the Residents Living here. This Building has Improved in Security, which makes it a Comfortable for ALL, The Apartments are $1, 585 per Month, *some Utilities Included (Inquire at the Time, of Application) Almost 2Years ago .. a Balcony Restoration has been Completed, Replacing the Origional Iron Railing with a more Solid & Modern Railing for Residents Providing more Safety & Security & Improves the Overall Look of the Building. Around the same Timeframe as the Balcony Work, there was NEW Carpeting Installed on each of the 7 Floors. a Fresh Coat of Paint, has also Been Professionally Done, for the Walls in addition to each Unit, Elevator & Stairwell Doors, Both, the Stairwells, also, Have been re-Painted, the Lobby has also, Been re-Painted as well. *this NEW Paint, gives the Building a Brighter & more Comfortable feel, throughout. More Restoration/Upgrades are soon to come, in 2024 & Beyond. Needless to say .. If, You are Looking for a Safe, Secure, Comfortable Living Environment, Close to Downtown & under a Management Company, that Truly Cares, for it's Residents & is Dedicated to Providing the Best, Living Experience, for each ... ENJOY & PLEASE Come & ENJOY our Community . !! **the Added Photo (2024-06-18) is a SHot of the Front Lawns, in front of the Building from my Balcony perspective. a few Weeks, ago, CAPREIT., Raked, Sodded & Freshly Seeded Both Lawns, the Effort CAPREIT., Showed, with this Work, clearly shows that they care, about US, as a Residential Building & that Image is also Important. For Many Years, the Front Lawns, were nothing But, Dirt with some Mild Patches of Dead Grass - when Both Areas are Fully Covered with NEW Grass., it will Definately Brighten up, the Visual Aspect of our Building.

I am a new tenant. I think this is a great peaceful place to live. Excellent location if you want to be close to everything. The building is clean and the apartment is roomy. Office staff Tanya is a great professional. She assisted us all the way through the process of the application and moving into the apartment and is always happy to answer any questions we have.

Strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a place to live. It's surprising to see so many positive reviews for this building when there have been so many issues in Unit 24 over the past 2 years of living here. - cockroaches all through the year, especially summer. - the kitchen sink has backed up/flooded with dirty water from upper units three separate times - the heating did not work during winter months (unit was 12-14 degrees maximum, even with space heaters plugged in, all winter / 4 months straight). They did nothing to fix this for over 4 months from December to March, even though five times I reached out for help, and even still it won't be fixed for next year because the unit is not insulated properly. - They replaced the sliding doors in the living room without any warning they would be doing that repair, so I unexpectedly was not able to live in my unit for two days. - Multiple times the parking garage gets blocked by an unexpected repair to the ramp and is blocked for 6-8 hours straight and CAPREIT did not notify residents that this was happening, so our vehicles were stuck in the parking garage until they finish and we had no heads up about it. - the concrete foundation in the parking garage constantly leaks water from the ceiling year-round, which is very concerning about the structure of the building. - smell of weed and cigarettes comes up through the vents, especially during winter when it's cold so people just smoke inside their units. The worst part is when you contact CAPREIT to fix these issues, they are not helpful. They will wait weeks to schedule anyone to come check the issues, if you even get a response from them, and communication is not consistent, there are constant repairs needed to the building with no heads up. Definitely check out other places before renting here!!
