We booked a “Small Loft” at Lofts du Village, Square Old Chelsea, and the accommodations were absolutely beautiful—much larger than I had anticipated. There were only two of us, but four people would easily be very comfortable. The wall-to-wall windows overlooking the Square made the space bright and airy, and it felt wonderfully open and spacious. The cozy couch in front of the fireplace gave the loft a romantic, inviting feel. The modern bathroom with heated floors added a truly luxurious touch, and the fully equipped kitchen had plenty of cupboard space for anyone bringing their own food. There was even a washer and dryer (which we didn’t need, but appreciated having). The Square itself was charming in the winter, and the stay was absolutely well worth the price. I can’t wait to return and experience it again in the summer!

What a perfect spot for to enjoy a local lowkey weekend! We had a large loft on the 3rd floor which was fine for us but there is no elevator if needed. The loft was clean and cozy throughout but the highlight of the loft was the bathroom! Equipped with a large tub & double headed shower in the same space, it allowed for true relaxation. The only issue we had was the heat, it was too hot which made for a rough wake up feeling extra dry and thirsty. There was also a washer & dryer but you have to supply your own detergent. We loved staying here and will be back for sure!

Overall this was a lovely room. Good... it was great to come into a very warm room, after an evening at the Spa. Not only was there a coffee machine, but also a kettle to make some tea. And even some milk in the fridge. The bathroom was spacious ,nice shower. Comfortable bed. There were some nice treats: chocolates, wine and beer in the fridge - but we assumed that was all chargeable as extras. It was not clear. Bad.... accessing the key was confusing. It was not near the room but in a grocery store on the main street, only a 10 minute walk. But I did email them in advance and asked for a location link to collect the keys, but the reply was bluntly "Loft de village", which on Google maps is the location of the accomodation, not the grocery store. It would be so easy to have given me a link to there. Secondly their website offered a 'package' deal including access to the Nordic Spa. But after booking and paying for that, and the total amount being debited from my card, they still wanted me to provide my credit card details over an email. I found that bizarre. My advice to anyone it simply book separately and directly with the Spa.

A Charming Stay in the Heart of Chelsea, QC Overall Rating: 4/5 Stars - Highly Recommended! We recently had a wonderful two-night stay at Lofts du Village in beautiful Chelsea, Quebec, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Pros: The accommodations themselves were absolutely lovely. The rooms were super cute, welcoming, and cozy, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The true high point of our trip was the charming village environment surrounding the lofts. The local establishments truly stand out, especially the nearby pub and cafe, which offered amazing, fresh, and well-prepared food. It's fantastic to have such high-quality dining options just steps away. The Cons (Areas for Improvement): While the stay was mostly positive, we did notice a lack of room service or refresh between our two nights. Unfortunately, the room was left unattended to, which meant we were out of a few crucial items the second morning. Specifically, we drank both coffee cups the first morning, and it would have been nice to have a coffee refresh for the second morning. We also loved the provided toiletries, but the lotion was lovely yet sadly empty after just two pumps. Another thing that would have been lovely is the garbage emptied between days. A quick check and restock would vastly improve the guest experience, especially for stays longer than one night. Final Verdict: Despite the minor maintenance oversight, we found Lofts du Village to be a charming and high-quality destination. The cozy atmosphere and the excellent food available in the village make this spot a must-visit. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in the Gatineau area.
