Beautiful setting for a delicious lunch. My husband had Poutine with duck. I had the beef tartare (served with salad and fries). Portions are generous. Every bite delicious. The local Sangria complemented the meal perfectly. Plenty of parking. Beautiful views

We were led to this restaurant by both its location and it's favorable Google reviews. Another example of diners being too generous with stars here. A pleasant enough location with attentive staff. The food we ordered was quite highly priced for its substance and presentation. Canned shrimp and lobster salad on a bun for $39. A confit duck leg on a bed of silly potato salad for about the same price. I began to notice other offerings being served around us that seemed to be of similar character. I guess everything just costs more now. In the end it's not just the cost though, but the optics of being led on by both the restaurant and Google reviewers that gets to me.

Lovely place! I had a wonderful lunch looking outside beautiful scenery of colorful leaves & river. Beef tartar was deliciously spicy, and duck confit was really tender and nice.

This restaurant by the waves is something special. Peaceful, full of personality, and the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer. The staff were super attentive and made the whole experience feel easy and warm. We had the fish and chips; absolutely delicious, like a plate of harmony! The drink we ordered was also amazing; local, full of character, and totally memorable. If you're on the island, this spot is a must. Simple, soulful, and just right.
